Thank you to everyone that came to the clothes swap you have all made a real difference to the environment.

If everyone in the UK bought one reclaimed woollen garment each year, it would save an average of 371 million gallons of water (an average UK reservoir hold about 300 million gallons) and 480 tonnes of chemical dyestuffs.
Free cotton bags were given out at the event to highlight the pollution caused by plastic bags.

13 billion bags are given away each year in the UK alone causing devastating pollution problems. visit www.turtlebags.co.uk for more info.
The Clothes Swap was a great success please check back soon for photo's of the event!

Posters

Look out for the posters around Uni. The t-shirts will feature in the clothes swap as all the text can be unpicked. The lettering is printed on recycled paper using recycled ink cartridges, the pattern is actually photographs of a landfill site. The design is a mixture of Tracy Emin, Paris 68 protest posters and Katharine Hamnett.
